The Official PlayStation Magazine has the scoop that Bioware’s Dragon Age series is all set for a multiplayer component when the third game in the series arrives. With Dragon Age II having recently launched, no release date has been set for Dragon Age III, but OPM confirms that it is in development, stating: “Dragon Age 3 is on the way, with an added multiplayer component"

Bioware has recently spoken of its interest in bringing a multiplayer component to some of its franchises, including Mass Effect, but it looks like Dragon Age III will be the first game to test the water. Whether we're talking about a co-op mode here, or something more in depth we'll have to wait and see.

Gah! I haven't even played the first one yet! And I probably won't start it until I've finished the first Mass Effect. :o Bioware, could you possibly slow down your development for us, few gamers who are a little… behind? :p

DragonAge II… Do we know if there are DLC/Expansion Packs due to be coming out? i.e. Is it worth waiting for the Ultimate Edition like with DA:O I?
