SEGA has today released the Xbox 360 demo of SEGA Rally, now available to download via the Xbox live marketplace. The demo features two quick race tracks taken from the colourful, steep sided Canyon environment and the gloriously muddy and downright dirty Tropical environment. Players will also have the choice of tearing up the deformable surfaces in either the Mitsubishi Evo IX FQ3 or the Subaru Impreza STi Spec C type RA.

SEGA Rally will be released across Europe for the Xbox 360, the PS3, the PSP and the PC on September 28th 2007.

Now, go and try out the unique deformation technology which the SEGA Racing Studio has worked so hard to implement into SEGA Rally. For the first time ever you can not only see the deformation in action, but feel every bump along the way.

if only my 360 worked
Tried the demo this morning for 30 minutes or so, not that impressed with it, a little to arcadey for me, not sure what I was expecting.
I would agree with Trash Man, the demo seems very arcade like one thing that seemed very strange is not being able to drive of the track..
Also the fact you can hit everything without any real consequence, ok you slow down a little but not enough to bother you.
I JUST DONT GET IT, i dont get why everywhere i look people are reviewing sega rally as a 9 out of 10 game!!! i loved the original and when i found out that they were making a next gen version i was so happy a little bit of wee came out. i didnt bother with the demo as the screen shots looked so good i knew it would be great so off i went with £45 in my hand to the game store needless to say the very next day i got my money back, what a load of third rate tat it looks like crap and it plays even worse, for gods sake sega give it up confess that you lost it years ago and work on something new, maybe you could go invent a console or something oh no hang on you tried that and failed miserably. man i hope nfs pro street is good i need a driving game!
