Missions based on GRAW 2
Xbox community site, Britxbox.co.uk, has organised a community day at Warfighters, where gamers will get the chance to take part in organised simulated battles based on the hit console game Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
HEXUS.gaming attended Warfighters earlier this year and had a great time throwing smoke grenades, diving in bunkers and using the laser-based military weapons to eliminate the enemy. We even got the chance to ride in the back of a hummer over rough terrain and were dropped off in woodland where we had to use squad tactics to infiltrate an enemy base - siege style!
The Community Day takes place on Friday August 31st at Willoughby near Rugby and gives GRAW fans and gamers alike the opportunity to feel what he must be like to be a Ghost. The day costs £49.99, which includes a £10 discount on the full price and for your money you'll get a whole day of combat action without any of the hidden costs of paint ball or the bruises.
Michael Rossell, Editor and Events Manager said: "So, I bet you're asking why there aren't any Xbox 360s at this event? Well, to be honest, we got fed up of lugging massive TVs around; getting funny looks from attractive female sports students and decided to do something a bit more exciting than camping out in a darkened room for 11 hours.
Warfighters is a great experience. I was lucky enough to go to the recent Ubisoft GRAW 2 press day at Warfighters and was treated to a short taster of what it's like and I've got to say I really enjoyed it."
