New products to be announced at E3

We waited donkey's years for S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl to be released, but now it's on the shelves GSC Gameworld are keen to expand the franchise further, with the planned announcement at E3 of several new products set in the STALKER universe.

"We are very happy of the players' positive reaction to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. all over the world. This fills us with confidence the team is on the right track and adds us strength to go for next exciting accomplishments. It will be very soon that we present our new interesting ideas and solutions", said GSC Game World's CEO Sergiy Grygorovych.

The reviews of S.T.A.L.K.E.R : Shadow of Chernobyl have been largely postive for the single player campaign, with many websites praising the atmosphere, open-ended and rewarding gameplay, but the standard no thrills no spills multiplayer has been a disappointment to many. Nevertheless, fans of the series will be looking forward to seeing exactly how the universe will be expanded this July.

'd love to see a stalker “MMO”. Servers with say 64 people, expand the map a bit, so it does actually cover all the area, and chuck all 64 into the single player area, that would be sweet. I also wouldn't mind some more RPG elements, leveling up type thing ala Fallout.
