Pink Wii on the way
It’s well known that Nintendo have aimed the Wii squarely at the casual gamer and the massive success of their new console is testament to just how accurate their market research has been, but it appears they’re aiming for a still untapped area with the new Wii.That’s right, following the success of the coloured DS Lite handhelds, a Pink Wii is on the way, most likely to target 50% of the population... girlies.
There’s a huge of amount of research showing that the female gamer is still a relatively rare thing with gaming and games themselves being a predominantly male preserve. With the new Pink Wii Nintendo are obviously going after the casual female gamer.
So get ready for reports of chipped nails and cat fights as girlies battle it out in the living room as the Pink Wii finds it place in their living room.
OH and a small tip here; let her win sometimes or you could find yourself given the elbow in favour of a piece of pink plastic... not that it’s the first time it’s happened to me...
