Effects pedal to be released

If you didn't know already, Guitar Hero II is out in the UK this Friday, April 6th 2007. I'm a huge fan of the PS2 version, but the Xbox 360 is seriously going rock. Not only will it include 10 more songs than the PS2 version, but they'll also be online multiplayer (not available from day one) and additional content available for download via the Xbox live marketplace.

I was quite shocked when I saw that the game was going to retail at Ā£65.00, but today when I heard that that the X-Plorer Guitar controller will have a port allowing the use of an effects pedal which will be released in the near future, the high price tag doesn't seem bad after all.

Here's the proof, revealed in the Guitar Hero II user manual::

Guitar Hero II can be pre-ordered from Play.com

I hope the XBOX 360 people get a better tracklisting than what was on the PS2 version. Only 7 decent tracks on the whole game and one of them is an extra track you buy.

I've seen the track list somewhere. I'll dig it out and post it shortly.

Only found out today that online multiplayer will not available from day one.
