Taking next-gen console shooters to another level.

The Battlefield franchise has to be one of my favourite online shooters. For a start it’s always pretty clear who the enemy is so there’s none of that embarrassing accidental TKing that seems to blight my CC:S sessions... and it’s a slower paced game on the larger maps. Team up with a bunch of like-minded players and you can form a damn near unbeatable unit... it’s just a shame that some servers are full of ‘lone wolf’ pillocks intent on nicking the chopper and having showing all the team spirit of Ronaldo in the World Cup...

But bitter reminiscences of pouting cry-baby Portuguese footballers aside, Battlefield: Bad Company is set to bring true next-gen visuals and gameplay to the Xbox 360 and PS3 so check ‘em out below.

Looks damn good and a nice little concept, I am so bored of US vs Rest of the World or US vs Generic Middle Eastern Country.

Still would like to see more British troops in games as well because lets face we must be one of the best armed forces because look at what we achieve with so little! Or maybe just British people without plummy accents or cor blimey cockney rhyming slang.
Have you checked out the video on HEXUS.tv? It's the funniest in-game vid I've seen for a long while…
