Pricing confirmed for UK first party PS3 games

Sony has confirmed the pricing for a number of first party launch titles. The following titles : MotorStorm, Formula One Championship Edition, Genji: Days of the Blade ,Resistance: Fall of Man and Super Rub'a'Dub will be available to buy for £39.99.

Playstation Network titles will range from £2-£6 and amongst the launch titles will be, flOw, Go! Sudoku ,Lemmings and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.

This follows the news today that European gamers will also receive Gran Turismo HD concept as a free download. A spokesperson from Sony has provided further details on the download. “Players start with one car on the Eiger Nordwand track in the Swiss Alps. When the track is completed within the time limit, another car is unlocked.

There are nine further cars to unlock in this way, including a Ferrari 599 – the first time a Ferrari has appeared in Gran Turismo. In another first, Gran Turismo HD Concept’s Time Trial will bring into effect the first Gran Turismo online rankings system. For the first time, players will be able to track who the best Gran Turismo driver is – and we expect a lot of dedication to be put in.”


Despite the PS3 being revised for Europe, David Reeves, President and CEO of SCEE is still confident that the PS3 will be a huge success, “With over 30 first and third party disc and network games available at launch, we are confident that this will be one of the most successful launches of all time.”
