If you log onto Xbox live today you'll notice a prompt to download a new update. Microsoft bring us word that the update is to patch some of the faults reported since the Autumn update.

Upon installing the update, your machine will have had the following changes :
# Improved support for HD video output over VGA, including 1080p resolution
# Improved plug and play performance for wired headsets when being used with wireless controllers
# Changes made to recently played games list to improve accuracy

The update is taking place world-wide, so if the prompt doesn't immediately appear when you boot up, be patient it may take a while.

I already got my xbox 360 updated.
The 1080P down look much different than the 720P. But there's no AA to open for that high-res. For 720P, you could open 4AA.
Well actually looked around marketplace and arcade today for the fist time in AGES and only just noticed the new layout and the cool feature in arcade of “download arcade trials soon as they are available” - nice feature :)
Have they fixed the pirates of the carribbean 2 trailer yet? Iv been trying to download that for ages.

Thats because beyond certain resolutions AA makes negligable difference to the picture :) So it would be waste of processing power to have it enabled in 1080p mode..
