The first details on the farming title, Harvest Moon, for Wii have cropped up and explain how the new controller will be used to carry out those farming chores.

Farming is hard sweaty work. Only the smartest,hardest working farmers succeed.Your task is to turn a rundown plot of land on an island into a successful striving ranch,by juggling all the differerent elements of farming and ranching. The idea of such a game hardly fills us with excitement, but the use of the Wii-mote may well encourage us to change our minds.

The Wii-mote will become the farming tool. To till your garden's soil, for instance, you swing the controller like a hoe. To water your planets, you tilt the controller downwards as you would a bucket. The controller is expected to be used similarly when fishing and taking care of animals.

After all this hard work let's hope that there's time for a relaxing roll around in the hay.

There is currently no release date for Harvest Moon.
