On Monday we ran a story that British tabloid, The Daily Star, ran an article stating that Nintendo's next-gen console will launch at the end of November at a price of 170 pounds. Nintendo have unsurprisingly stepped forward to deny the rumour saying that the article was '"pure speculation".

Nintendo will announce the price and launch date in September.

Wii rumours are continuing to spiral out of control, including recent talk of a Superman title, a Pokemon RPG and a specifically designed wireless keyboard.

Was wondering how long it would take them to comment :)

Steve, there seems to be an issue with the pound sign on that headline?
Cheer Leon, still doesn't like it for some reason.

The page is comming through on this system as being “Greek (Windows)” encoding. I've noticed this on a couple of other articles, never thought to comment though :)
