Little green men with big guns!

For those of you with a liking for the unusual, Destroy All Humans, with it’s tongue in cheek range of weaponry and gameplay was refreshing change from the standard third-person shooter.

Now Crypto returns to take on the world of free love, the Cold War and other 60’s era clichés, causing destruction around the globe with an upgraded arsenal of alien weaponry and enhanced mental abilities - battling a variety of enemies from secret agents and giant creatures, to Soviet Forces and ninja warriors.

Once again you play the role of the alien, Crypto, to take on the most feared enemy in the galaxy – mankind. According to THQ, players will have total freedom to destroy anything and manipulate everything in the world - battling enemies with an explosive arsenal of alien weaponry, or wreak havoc from above in their Jetpack or UFO.

The probing (of the anal kind) found in the first game has been expanded for you to explore 5 open-world game environments including Bay City, Albion and Takoshima Island. You’ll now be able to start new story missions without returning to the Mothership or explore the open world in a variety of side missions relevant to the game’s storyline.

There’s going to be co-op multiplayer too, so you can team up with another player and Destroy All Humans together via split-screen. Play through the entire single player game together or replay missions already completed. And just to keep the fun coming, there’s two player mini games throughout the game like PK Tennis and more.

Of course, any self respecting sequel has to have new weapons and the like and Destroy All Humans 2 is no exception. You’ll also have new mental abilities and upgrades too. You’ll be able to take on the world with enhanced alien weaponry, including the all new Meteor Strike, and Disclocator, or utilize your mental abilities with old and new favorites like PK, Cortex Scan, Transmogrify and Mind Flash.

Rumours that a certain member of Team HEXUS is complaining about the lack of a Mullet Missile are entirely unfounded, though they say they’ll also be gutted if the last game’s Anal Probe is left out of this one... allegedly...
