Project Gray Company

There's currently little known about Electronic Art's next-gen RPG, Project Gray Company. However, we have discovered some more concept art, although a couple of the pics may even be screenshots. The latest art hints at the theme of this dark adventure.

Project Gray Company will use the same technology that was used in Sims 2, and will feature a main mission and side quests.

A source on the official forums claims that the game will be single player only, and should also be appearing on PC, as well as next generation consoles.

It could be argued that this will be Electronic Art's first 'real' venture into the World of the RPG. The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age wasn't a standard RPG, there was no buying or selling or free roaming. An RPG is about playing a fulfilling and playing a role is it not and, although The Third Age was billed as an RPG, in my eyes it didn't come close. I suppose the definition of an RPG will differ depending who you ask, but it will be interesting to see EA's take on their latest game.

Judging from this art, it's definately going to worth keeping an eye on.

"The action takes place in a massive open world where you can go anywhere you want, and the characters in this world... The story of the game is built around a series of Story Quests. You can choose to follow specific Story Quests, embark on a range of other types of quests, or set off on your own adventures in the massive open world environment."
