Get yerself some demo fun!

2K Games and Human Head Studio’s new shooter, Prey, is out in demo form from today.

Using a heavily modified Doom 3 engine, Prey sees you sucked up into a massive alien spaceship where you battle to save yourself, your girlfriend and eventually the whole of mankind.

Prey turns the world of FPS games on it head with it’s innovative use of gravity, with walkways leading up walls and across ceilings, it’s use of real-time portals that you can fire through and American Indian spirit lore, allowing you to solve puzzles and evade traps in the ethereal world.

If you haven’t already, you need to have a read of this Prey Hands-on and then grab the demo from one of the following sites:

VGPro - free, no sign ups!

Gamespot

3D Gamers

Filefront

Fileplanet

Fileshack

There are more sites out there, but this lot should keep you happy for now.
