Rumours quashed

The latest rumour surrounding the PS3 concerns Sony's alleged bid to make the distribution of preowned games for the next-gen console illegal. Whilst Sony fan boys across the net were teaming with anger at the alledged news, Sony have stepped forward to deny the rumour.

The suggestion that Sony would not allow trade-ins of PS3 games was quite frankly ridiculous and, according to Games Radar, UK spokesperson Jennie Kong said, "It's false speculation. We don't have any further knowledge about this topic - either officially or unofficially, to be frank."

It's been a turbulent couple of weeks for Sony after the news of launch game delays, verbal onslaughts from the opposition, and numerous digs by the media and consumers on the high pricing of the PS3.

The PS3 will be released World-wide on the 17th November 2006.
