KODE5

KODE5 plans to take the Global gaming revolution to another level. Spanning across 15 countries and backed by FOXCONN and Corsair Memory, KODE5 is a World-wide gaming tournament that will see the best players from each region competing on Counter Strike 1.6, Warcraft 3: The Frozen throne and Quake IV.

Unlike many tournaments, you won't need an invite to play, the KODE5 regional events are for everyone, regardless of skill. The top players in the regional events will be flown to a secret location where they will take on the best players from around the World in the KODE5 Global Finals .

The dates and venues for the regional events have been announced in Taiwan, China, Latin America and Germany. The U.K heats have not yet been announced in the U.K but, by keeping an eye on the official website, the details should be revealed shortly. By registering you'll also receive any updates straight to your inbox.

KODE5 was revealed at CeBIT 2006 in Hanover where large crowds gathered to watch the Global launch. The launch was a great success with the likes of professional gamer James “TooGoood” Harding and Paul “astz!” McGarrity showing off their skills on Quake IV by taking on the public. There were some great prizes handed out to, including Foxconn motherboards and Foxconn PC Chasis.

The CeBIT event culminated with one of the top U.K teams, Team Dignitas, battling it out against some of Europe's top PC clans. French clan, Goodgame, beat the U.K professionals on Counter Strike and were awarded with a place in the German KODE5 regional finals.

At the close of the KODE5 launch, Lester Lau, KODE5's Revolutionary-in Command said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled with the response at the KODE5 Global Launch. The wheels have been set in motion, and with the CeBIT Launch, the entire KODE5 team is looking forward to bringing the world one of the must-go gaming events of 2006.”
