The developers of online science fiction game 'Entropia Universe', which featues a real cash economy, have discovered a way for players to withdraw their virtual cash (PED) from an ATM. The ATM will convert your virtual cash into real money based on the current online conversion rate.

He continued, "MindArk is changing the online gaming and virtual community landscape by introducing a real cash economy that offers validity and secure monitoring of one's funds. We aim to become unique forerunners of online virtual entertainment, and with the ATM technology and economic stability of our universe, we are creating the next level of the online experience."
Entropia Universe has already set a world record by selling a virtual Treasure Island for $26,500 USD - this was the largest virtual dollar amount spent in an online game.
