Xbox live downtime
Between the hours of 10am today and 1am on Wednesday Xbox live will be offline.
Although Microsoft haven't confirmed the reason for the maintenance, rumour suggests that they'll be an update to the Xbox live marketplace which will allow for new content during E3. Microsoft have promised a number of exclusive game downloads, trailers and footage from the Electronics Expo between 9th-12th May.
A number of communications features are also rumoured to be available after the downtime.
During E3 week Xbox live silver subscription holders will be delighted to hear that their accounts will automatically be upgraded to Gold accounts free of charge.
