We've all suffered it at some point, and we continue to be impaired by it every day. Mostly we put it down to high ping rates, or our own, or other player's internet connections or game servers, but there is no doubt about it, lag is the most frustrating aspect of online gaming.

You're just about to take that decisive headshot, only for the screen to stutter at the crucial point, giving your opponent vital seconds to move out of your aim. Don't you just hate it!

ENDLAGNOW.org are a group of game enthusiasts who've decided to make a stand against lag issues, and they firmly believe that " Ping is a measure of Latency, which is a scientific measurement of how long it takes data to get from the game server to the gamer’s PC. We definitely think Ping is A cause, but just not THE cause. We have all been in plenty of games where everyone’s Ping is super low, yet we still suffer from Lag. Ping is A cause, but just not THE cause. We have all been in plenty of games where everyone’s Ping is super low, yet we still suffer from Lag. "

They don't believe that lag will disappear overnight, but they are encouraging consumers to act upon any issues that they come across whilst gaming. The site shows a comprehensive guide on how to spot 'lag', alongside tips to reduce any problems you may experience.

In March, website officials and friends attended the Game Developer's Conference in San Jose to take part in a rally to increase awareness of the 'lag' issues. The website aren't pointing blame at anyone in particular, but they do feel that if we all work together we can all help to reduce these unpleasant problems.
