Exclusive to PC

The stunning looking Sci-Fi first person shooter, Crysis, will be exclusive to the PC. There are currently no plans to bring the game to consoles.

"It crossed our minds," said Yerli on the next-gen question, "but we're sticking with PC. One thing about our company is that we want to focus, we don't want to do multiple things, we want to do one thing and do it well. PC is our focus right now, we were born there and we want to showcase what we can do there, before we made any move onto consoles."

In Crysis, two rival nations unite to stop the aliens and save mankind. The newly formed alliance fights epic battles against the marauding Aliens. With hope rapidly fading, the player must lead a crack squad through lush tropical jungle, harsh frozen landscapes, and finally into the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate Zero G encounter with the aliens.

I bet this game will cripple any card available now.. those texture effects doesnt seem to be Dx9c.. Dx10 maybe?

Darn… to think I have just bagged an excellent X1800XT not 2 weeks ago.. shuggs..
Yeah, I think I read in a mag that it will be DX10 and hence will only work on Windows Vista.

Perhaps this will be vista's killer app?
Its definately going to be compatible with XP aswel guys, according to the lead developer (interview in Edge)
