MMORPG on 360
New rumours are surfacing that World of Warcraft, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is indeed in production for the Xbox 360. The rumour has been fuelled by Xbox World 360 magazine who have ran a short article on the immensly popular game.
Due to World of Warcraft having huge appeal to MMORPG fans there are always going to people speculating as to whether the game will make an appearance on the Xbox 360, but Blizzard have denied the rumour.
We haven't seen a copy of the Xbox World Magazine, but one forum poster on the Xbox.com forums tells us that the magazine states that although,
" it is not confirmed it may as well be Gold plated fact."
Square Enix have made the transition from PC to Xbox 360 with their own MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI, the game runs on the console perfectly. Due to the huge popularity of World Of Warcraft it seems common sense that Blizzard will follow suit.

As long as they keep 360's WoW users away from PC users i don't mind. But i don't see how WoW would work on a 360 from a UI point of view. How do you have all 60+ buttons available etc?.
typing in the text to communicate would be very painful.
I can understand FF being on consoles, i mean this is where its come from. But blizzard fans are PC gamers, thats where WoW history and fun came from. I don't truely imagine the 360 is going to be as benefical to Blizzard as FF has been to Square.

USB keyboard. You need it on Final Fantasy to be able to play it properly.I'm not sure what they're doing about FFXI regarding PC and Xbox 360 users, I think they might all be mixed.Quote
And the idea of having a mouse and keyboard on a console just seems plain wrong :/
