Sequel planned
Joystiq have reported that Ubisoft's Michel Ancel has begun work on a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil.Beyond Good & Evil was oringainlly designed by Michael, who also designed Rayman, and was released back in 2003. The story followed Jade, a female reporter and was dubbed "the best game that nobody ever played".
The poor sales of the original haven't stopped it from becoming a cult classic and, with the new technology at the desginer's fingertips, it could make a dramatic comeback.
Beyong Good & Evil could be described as a stealthy action-adventure. It required teamwork and had some great mini games, even travelling around the world was fun, with the upgradeable hovercraft.
Ubisoft have not yet confirmed the new title, or confirmed its exsistence.
Update
A French Nintendo website has contacted Ubisoft who have said, "absolutely NO sequel to BGE is currently under development. This rumour is pure speculation"
