Prize Fight and HEXUS bring you the goodies!

So you reckon you rule the server? You’re the king of the headshot, the bad-ass on the block, yeah? Okay, time for you to put your money where your gun is…

As we covered in this Prize Fight Press Release, Prize Fight is a new online gaming system where you pay to enter matches with the chance of walking off with the pot.

Now Prize Fight have added Battlefield 2 to their stable of games, the stage is set for some classic gaming, with the added bonus of winning real cash for your gaming success.

The Prize Fight concept has been well received by the gaming community and the company has already established a reputation for providing fun, fair and exciting games possessing a level of tension not found on public servers, due to the money riding on each game. Now Prize Fight has introduced a new set of rules, meaning that Battlefield 2 games in particular are set to be the team events that Electronic Arts always intended them to be.

As we noted in our Battlefield 2 Review, the game really depends on other players working together as a team and one thing that has plagued public servers is the spawn camping and ‘lone wolf’ mentality of many players. Battlefield 2 is a team game, where cooperation and team play are the key to winning the maps. Prize Fight actively encourages team play with its new win rules that encourage team play. Go it alone in one of these matches and you could find yourself not only losing, but letting that cash slip through your fingers too.

The new win rules reward members of the winning team rather than the top players, so if you’re not an awesome sniper with a high kill ratio but a lowly medic who assists the team, you’ll be rewarded just the same. And don’t worry about being pitted against players with more skills and experience than you as Prize Fight has a built in dynamic seeding method which is used to match players into teams and games based upon past performance, thus providing everyone with a realistic chance to win.

And just as you thought it couldn’t get any better, HEXUS has an exclusive promotional offer in conjunction with Prize Fight: Go to www.prizefight.co.uk and enter the code HEXUS-PROMO-AWEKL-JNLKM to get a £5 credited to your Prize Fight account… and, if that weren’t enough, to mark Battlefield 2 going live on Sunday, 12th February, Prize Fight themselves are giving away £5 credits to the first 500 players who verify their Battlefield 2 game on Prize Fight’s website.

So what are you waiting for? Get yourself over there and sign up for cash while fragging!

I assume the HEXUS promo code won't work if you already recieved £5 from being one of the first 300 members to sign up when Prize Fight launched.

EDIT - I just tried and it refused saying that I had already used a promotion voucher of this type.
That's right, the promotional code works for news signs ups only BUT you can possibly still snag yourself a an extra fiver for being one of the first 500 to verify Battlefiled 2.
I would like to, but I don't own a copy of BF2!

Prize Fight is a promising venture. Will be much better with more players on board as that will hopefully lead to more and cheaper events.
I've got to say, it's worth it for the chance to have a decent BF2 game… winning some cash as well is always nice! :D

Which games have you been playing? Won anything yet?
Just CS:S.

Only played a couple of times. Most of the event times are when I'm at work. Hopefully it will get to the stage where there are enough players for events throughout the day.

I can see these sort of services really taking off especially if console gaming is allowed in the action. Pro Evo would be great fun for cash!
