New shooter from the Crytek team
EA and Crytek have a announced a new FPS using the CryENGINE 2.
Having snaffled developers Crytek out from UbiSoft’s stable, Electronic Arts has announced development is under way for a new shooter titled Crysis.
Few details are available at the minute, but a press release says “fans will face a new kind of gameplay challenge requiring adaptive tactics and customisation of weapons and armour in dynamic, hostile environments as mankind struggles to survive in the face of a horrific alien invasion.”
With Crytek having the superb Far Cry under their belts, you’ve got to wonder if this will be just another shooter along the same lines… but apparently not according to EA, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
No release date has been set at this time but EA will be publishing the game worldwide for the PC.
