DS re-invents itself
An interesting piece of news circulating the net this morning claims that Nintendo are planning to make an announcement on January 16th regarding the re-design of the Nintendo DS.
The Nintendo DS is seen by many analysts to be in the same market as Sony's PlayStation Portable, although representatives from both companies have stated that "each system targets a different audience."
The information surfaced from Video game importers, Lik Sang, who said, “….here at Lik Sang too we have received word a couple of days ago from a Japanese contact stating Nintendo will have a formal announcement of the re-design [of the DS] on Jan. 16th.”
There are currently no clues as to what the re-design may entail, or if the rumours are indeed true.
