Sam and Max Webcomic hits the road..er, web
Every gamer in the Nineties must of at least heard of Sam and Max, even if they hadn’t played the superb Lucasarts adventure, Sam and Max Hit The Road. From the same camp that made the brilliant Day Of The Tentacle, Sam and Max was a smash hit sadly signalling the pinnacle of the point and click adventure… which all but died out over the next few years…
But now Sam and Max are back thanks to Telltale a web based story and comics site. Telltale is forming alliances with creative pioneers like Steve Purcell to bring their characters to life, and the Sam & Max web comic is the just first of the new stories planned for the coming months. For those of you that don’t know, Steve Purcell published his first Sam and Max comic back in 1987, following the success of that up with a few more stories before working with Lucasarts on Sam and Max Hit The Road.
