Microsoft lagging for Xbox 360 UK gamers

So you’ve queued up over night, got soaked standing outside Game this morning and been through all manner of trials to get your hands on the new Xbox 360, you’d think the least Microsoft could do is push a button, eh?

What are we talking about? As you all know, the Xbox 360 is being touted as being more than just a gaming consoles, it’s a home media system too able to hook up through Windows Media Connect or Media Center Edition and stream files across your network… to be able to do this you need to grab a bit of software that you install on your media PC to connect the Xbox 360 to it. This file isn’t included in the latest roll-up, you need to grab it specifically for the Xbox 360.

Except as this screen grab shows, you can’t. The message on the site at the moment is telling us to come back when the Xbox 360 is released.... Er, hello guys?

Yep, someone over at Microsoft needs to wake up and push the button so we can hook our Xbox 360s up to our Media networks… Yes, yes, we know you can just head to the US version of the site and grab the file from there, but that’s not the point. Microsoft have managed to ship the hardware all over the world so we don’t have to wait for it but the software, which travels at the speed of light over the interweb is yet to arrive!
