Nintendo set to unveil Revolution!
Nintendo have announced that details of the Revolution, their next-gen console, will be revealed in a pre-E3 press briefing on May 9th.
According to Nintendo, all the juicy details on the Revolution will be revealed then. This comes as no surprise as the world’s gaming press will be flocking to E3 as usual, so it was expected that Nintendo would reveal the Revolution’s secrets then.
Nintendo have made plenty of noise about backwards compatibility for the Revolution being available for download and have even shown off the controller but so far there’s been little about the console or games for it.
There have been rumours around the net that IBM have produced a dual core CPU for the console which Nintendo have been showing off to developers but there’s nothing firm at this time. However, it’d be a surprise if Nintendo showed off the Revolution but didn’t have anything to play on it at E3 2006.
