300,000 Xbox 360s for European Launch
Microsoft’s Chris Lewis, the chap in charge of the Xbox 360’s launch in Europe said in a German newspaper, Euro am Sonntag, that industry pundit’s guesstimates of 300,000 units ready on launch day “were not far removed from reality”.
Whether this means the actual number is more or less is anybody’s guess though. Microsoft are predicting sales of roughly 10 million units worldwide by the end of 2006… but before we get to that let’s deal with the UK launch where the obvious scarcity of Premium Xbox 360s is starting to worry those with a pre-order… as can be seen on the HEXUS.forums
