Xbox 360 Crashes

Could it be that the reported crashing problems with the Xbox 360 aren’t down to the actual machine itself, but more likely to be the power supply?

It looks as if overheating PSUs are the cause of many people’s problems with the Xbox 360 crashing all the time, as one creative gamer found when his Xbox 360 crashed. Noticing the PSU was pretty hot, he first used string and then a box to lift the PSU off the floor and allow air to circulate all around it, reporting a solid 7 hours of crash free gaming once he’d ‘modified’ his PSU positioning.
