Microsoft announce European Xbox 360 compatibility list.
It looks like us European gamers are going to get less of a deal than our American chums who’ve got a 212 game list of compatible games… We only get 156 and even though the US has more, that’s still less than 25% of the Xbox’s back catalogue.
With key games like Splinter Cell and Dead or Alive not on the list you might think it cause to pause before forking out for an Xbox 360 but Microsoft are on record as saying they’ll be updating the Xbox 360’s emulation software to bring the entire back catalogue of games into the ring of light.
Still, at least we’re better off than the Japanese who can look forward to just 12 old Xbox games being playable on the Xbox 360…
