EA Sports' FIFA 12 shows it's got what it takes to knock Gears of War 3 off the top spot, taking Epic Games' cover-based shooter down to No. 2, while F1 2011 loses control and drops one place to No. 3.
Zumba Fitness stays put at No. 4 as Dead Island drops a further two places to No. 5, pushing Deus Ex: Human Revolution down to No. 6.
Brand new entry to the top 10 is Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, stomping in at No. 7 followed by Driver: San Francisco, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and Call of Duty: Black Ops in positions 8, 9 and 10, respectively.
Selling 18 per cent more at launch than FIFA 11 - EA Sports' FIFA 12 monster sales make it the third best-selling UK video game launch ever, coming in just behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
