Valve has confirmed its plans to release downloadable content for its physics-based, platform-puzzler, Portal 2.

In an interview with Fast Company, Doug Lombardi, Valve's vice president of marketing” confirmed that we won’t have long to wait because more content will be available in the summer. Sadly, that’s all that was teased, but he did say they’ll be more details revealed shortly.

“We'll be putting more details out about that in a week or so. We'll support that with more videos or more comics.”

In the meantime, don’t forget to check out our Portal 2 review.

Hopefully they'll add some faster/harder maps. I really enjoyed Portal 2, but it is very very linear

Agreed more challenge maps for single player would be good (like in the original Portal), the problem with the co-op challenges is that once they are done there very little replay value in it left.
Sorry is it just me or this DLC comming so soon, and the single play time being short indicates this content was withheld from the original game to make more bucks. I am getting really sick of DLC… Its like a game with installment plans, where you don't know how much they are asking for.

Unfortunately thats how the market operates these days, average game time has dropped dramatically in the last few years from 12 hours per game to 6 hours and below, dlc is planned to extend the times and get more money.
