Following a surge of support from Facebook-following fans of Activision's Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises, the publisher has made a u-turn regarding future support for the titles.

Activision confirmed earlier this year that both franchises will no longer be supported and futher games in both series have been canned. However, via the official Twitter pages for both games, Activision has now confirmed that in recognition of the continued support from fans there will be further DLC.

There's no news of exactly what Activision has planned for the two games, but it has said that all will be revealed "soon."
