Free America from the North Koreans

From Kaos Studios, the team behind Frontlines: Fuel Of War, Homefront is a first person shooter that tells the story of a stricken America, fallen to military occupation in the year 2027.

The world has suffered a decade-long energy crisis, and economies have crumbled. Reduced to a mere shadow of the super power it once was, the United States became the target of a North Korean takeover. American malls, suburbs and city streets are now battlegrounds as the civilian resistance fights for freedom. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping centres shelter armored attack vehicles.

You play as a member of the Resistance, as you stand united and fight for freedom against an overwhelming military force, in what publisher THQ describes as a " terrifyingly plausible near-future world."

Due for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, Homefront appears to feature typical first person shooter gameplay, with a range of familiar weapons and the ability take command of aerial and ground vehicles. Kaos Studios has also taken the foundations it laid down in Frontlines: Fuel Of War and tweaked it in order to deliver a cinematic experience with plenty of blockbuster moments.
