August- September big releases

The summer is almost over and developers are putting the final touches to their games in the lead up to the busy Christmas period, while publishers are busy putting pen to paper to hype their games to the max!

There are some great looking titles out between now and the festive season, including Fable III, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Call of Duty Black Ops, not forgetting the launch of Microsoft and Sony prospective motion-sensing controllers over the next couple of months.

So, what will your money be spent on?

Mafia II
Platforms – PC, Xbox 360, PS3
Release Date: 27 August, 2010

2K is putting a heavy emphasis on story-telling (written by the Mafia I team) and characterisation to make the world of the Mafia II feel alive and intense. Expect bouts of ferocious hand-to-hand combat, gun-fights and car chases across a sprawling open world environment.

Halo Reach

F1 2010

Release Date - 24 September, 2010

As the official game of the 2010 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, F1 2010 will include all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the coming season.


Dead Rising 2
