Xbox 360 Slim

A re-designed Xbox 360 slim console, complete with built-in Wi-Fi and a 250GB hard-drive has been officially revealed at Microsoft's E3 conference today.

The new Xbox 360 SKU has apparently shipped to stores in the U.S. today priced $299, but there's no word on when it will hit the UK or what the retail price will be. Play.com have the Xbox 360 set to launch on the 16/7/2010, priced at £199.99.

The Xbox 360 Slim will be available in black only. As for how "slim" it is, well...we've no idea. No-one seems to have the specifications just yet. We'll let you know as soon as we know!

Microsoft has said that it will ship an Xbox 360 Slim to everyone who attended the press conference! The lucky beggars.

Edit by Matty-Hodgson: Using references to the Microsoft Component HD AV cable I've been able to work out a pretty accurate measurement from the photos:

261mm tall vs 309mm

62mm wide vs 83mm

221mm deep vs 258mm

The 2nd measurements are the MS stated dimensions for the original Xbox 360.
