Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction has shot straight to pole position in this week's mult-format video games charts following its release last week.

This is the first time since the charts have started that Ubisoft has had a title in first and second place in the charts. Splinter Cell Conviction has knocked one of Ubisoft's other titles, Just Dance, off the top spot.

The only other new entry this week in the top 20 is GTA Episodes - Liberty City which has shot straight into third position following its release on PC and PS3.
