Don't get ogling those breasts, she's only 12.

What is Magna Carta 2?
The title of Namco Bandai’s and SoftMax's latest game may suggest that it has its roots firmly set in the annals of English history, but Magna Carta 2 is actually a typical Japanese role-playing game. With its pre-pubescent, manga-styled hero Juto heading the cast of colourful characters, the storyline focuses on the typically-JRPG themes of love, hate, betrayal and politics as Juto joins forces with Princess Zephie and her warriors in a war for control over the land.

The storyline sets things up nicely for the main course of questing and monster-killing, where EXP and loot are rewarded for your hard efforts. NPC’s issue quests with text-based dialogue that progresses the plot and during the adventure there’s plenty of opportunity to hunt for treasure chests and rare items, seek magical items and weapons to power-up, and craft and trade items with local merchants.

Character progression ensures access to more powerful items and fantastical beasts, with a skill tree allowing you to assign points to your hero's attributes and tailor your parties' combat prowess. Combat comprises of real-time and turn-based fighting with players controlling just one character at a time, but taking control of three and switching between them to perform chains, combos, special attacks and unleash your magical powers.

Aside from the in-depth combat system, Magna Carta 2 doesn't stray too far from the standard RPG formula, but it's vivid and provocative art-style does attempt to make it stand out from the crowd with an array of wide-eyed and beautiful characters. detailed environments and wonderfully illustrated beasts.
