Microsoft has announced a limited edition Xbox 360 console set to arrive in stores on November 10th.

The console, pictured below, is essentially an Xbox 360 Elite system bundled with two wireless controllers, a copy of Infinity Ward's highly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 and a new range-topping 250GB hard drive.

The Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition console is already up for pre-order at Amazon.com with a US retail price of $399. The console will be launched simultaneously in Europe, but UK pricing has yet to be announced.

In recent weeks, listings for a 250GB Xbox 360 console bundled with Forza Motorsport 3 had appeared on Amazon's German site. Although unconfirmed, we believe the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition won't be the only 250GB console in Microsoft's arsenal.

For those sitting on the other side of the fence, rumour has it that Sony will be launching a 250GB model of its PlayStation 3 in October.
