The three faces of Max Payne

Rockstar has released the latest screenshots for Max Payne 3 which show how drastically the New York City cop has changed since the first installment of the series.

Rockstar has re-invented Max Payne's look for Max Payne 3, which is due for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 this Autumn.

As Max has changed so dramatically, we thought it would be an ideal time to take a look at how his image has evolved over the years...

MAX PAYNE - 2001
Arms like a chimpanzee, slicked back hair, strong jaw-line, leather jacket look. A pissed off Mr.Tickle.

MAX PAYNE - 2003
Knackered man with the world on his shoulders, skinny but smart look.

MAX PAYNE - 2009
The muscly, rugged, slightly pot-bellied,scarred, bearded, hard as nails look.
