Red Steel 2 is the Wii exclusive sequel to Nintendo's sword slashing action adventure.

Designed for Wii MotionPlus, Red Steel 2 features 1:1 recognition where the sword and gun movements are precisely replicated within the game.Thanks to the new enhanced technology, Red Steel 2 will also be able to measure the strength of their swing.

Red Steel 2 is a first-person action game where players become a swordsman who finds himself in an edgy city in the middle of a desert armed with only a sword and gun. A diverse range of enemies and boss battles await across a remote mixed metropolis in the middle of the American desert, where Eastern culture and Western culture have been smashed together into a hodge-podge jumble: Caldera.

Master numerous combos with your sword and your gun ranging from triggering exciting finishing kills, parrying enemy attacks, or even deflecting bullets with your sword!

With 1:1 motion controls for the sword, this could be a fantastic game, however it depends on how the implement it and whether or not the try to make it as mass market as possible (which I suppose is inevitable) which is likely to detract from the gameplay..Quote

I'm still not convinced. I hope I'm wrong, but I was so bitterly disapointed the day I played Red Steel 1 I still havent recovered from the utter anti-climax.Quote
