The update, which will take the community-focused service from version 1.03 to 1.04, is taking place due to "high demand for the service," which has been causing connection issues for many users.

The patch will also remove one feature. Users will no longer be able its voice facility, but don't worry it will return at a later date.

This will be the first of many upgrades as Sony adds fresh content and makes all the necessary tweaks to the service during the open beta phase.
