The Xbox 360 now boasts arguably the biggest and best catalogue of games from the next generation of consoles. This week at E3, Microsoft announced its plans to expand that catalogue with some big-name titles such as Gears of War 2 and Final Fantasy XIII.
However, with Microsoft's console set to reach its three-year anniversary later this year, we've decided to take a look back at some of the games that haven't received the most media attention, but have proven to be hugely enjoyable.
So, without further ado, here's the HEXUS list of five Xbox 360 games that you might have overlooked, and should now rush out to buy.

One has to sympathise with Realtime Worlds, the developer's simply stunning open-world shooter from 2007, Crackdown, quickly became labelled as merely a means to enter the highly-publicised Halo 3 beta.
That label couldn't be further from the truth. Crackdown is about as much fun as you can have in a modern video game, and you can do it all with a friend via co-op on Xbox Live. True, it's been followed by a popular open-world title that goes by the name of Grand Theft Auto IV, and whilst GTA might be a whole lot bigger, we'd still question which of the two is more fun.
Crackdown is a game within a game. Once the simple task of eliminating gangs has been completed, there's a whole lot more to do. Collecting orbs and suping-up your powers can keep you going for a while, and once you've done that there's no end of ways to keep yourself entertained.
If you haven't played it yet, Crackdown is in our estimation one of the most underrated Xbox 360 games to date. It's quite simply a must-play, and here at HEXUS we can only hope that Realtime Worlds is planning a bigger, badder and more kick ass sequel. This is an impressive game, Agent.
