Bizarre Creations, the Liverpool-based developer behind the Project Gotham Racing series, is currently working on a brand new racing franchise.

The future of the Microsoft-owned Project Gotham series is in doubt following Bizarre Creations decision to quit working on future titles after the release of PGR4. Instead, it's working on an unnamed title which they hope will surpass the success of the franchise.

The company is currently keeping its cards close to its chest and has revealed no further details on the racing game,other than the fact that it will be released in 2009. Rumours, however, suggest that it could be related to the James Bond franchise, whose rights are currently owned by Activision, the company who bought Bizarre Creations in September 2007.
