Qmotions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of North American based Actiga has signed an agreement with Microsoft enabling them to incorporate its wireless technology into a range of 'active gaming' peripherals.

The first product in development is the Xbox 360 wireless skateboard, called the Qmotions-Big Air action game controller, which may be used in conjunction with games such as SKATE and the Tony Hawk's series. Actiga say that this will just be the start and they'll be a full range of products officially endorsed by Microsoft.

"Our aim with the Xbox 360 system is to broaden the consumer videogame experience and ensure a perfect match between the console, the peripherals and the game," says Scott Loomis, Xbox Third Party Peripheral Program Manager. "

The Qmotions-Big Air action game controller will be released in the second half of 2008.
