Stream BBC programmes on your Wii
The BBC has teamed up with Nintendo to bring its iPlayer video service to UK Wii this summer, which will allow for streaming and downloading of BBC programmes on the console.
"The BBC's catch-up TV service can now be accessed on an increasing number of different platforms - from the web and portable devices to gaming consoles," said Erik Huggers, BBC's group controller for Future Media and Technology, announcing the deal in a speech at the MipTV-Milia conference in Cannes.
A limited service is available now via the Internet channel, though a more complete version of the iPlayer will be released later in the year.
The BBC say that usage figures for the service have been rising in recent months with 17.2 million requests in March 2008. Latest figures confirm that approximately 42 million programmes have been either dowloaded or streamed via the iPlayer since it launched at Christmas 2007.

But you'd need to shell out the points for the browser :(
Erm, isn't 500 points the equivalent of £3.75 or thereabouts?
