Xbox 360 for Easter anyone?

It should come as no surprise to you that since Microsoft cut the price of the Xbox 360 on March 10, sales of the console have spiralled in the UK.

Stats-monitor, Chart-trak, claim that sales have risen by 36% since Microsoft dropped the price of the three Xbox 360 consoles by up to £50 each.

During week 11, Xbox 360 enjoyed a 36% jump from week 10, which is a nice, refreshing uplift for the console", ChartTrack director Dorian Bloch told MCV.

"That was just for the Friday and Saturday after the price cut. Microsoft will be especially pleased to see that overall, the hardware market was down – that’s every format except the PS3, which saw a very slight 6% rise."

Despite a general slowdown in console sales across the board, Bloch believes that the price cut will also lead to strong Easter sales.

You can now pick up the Xbox 360 arcade version for just £159.99 – a bargain we say.

Still waiting for the 65nm GPU refresh… then I'll be tempted ;)
I paid £160 for a new pro from littlewoods direct (had 20% off code)

TBH I would use it for a media streaming device too if my pc wasnt connected to the same monitor

£3.55 for an hdmi cable from ebuyer too :)
It was an awesome piece of kit at its original price - now it's just bargain-tastic. :surprised:
