Confirmed for 2008

The sequel to Insomniac Game's big selling sci-fi first person shooter, Resistance Fall of Man has been confirmed today, after the first screenshot appeared on the cover of the magazine, Game Informer

Game Informer will have some further information on the sequel, which they say will feature eight-player co-op and 60-player online multiplayer.

The only other information we know is that it will be set in the United States, and we'd also hazard a guess that they'll stay away from any Cathedral shoot-outs this time around.

Resistance Fall of Man 2 is due to be released in 2008. We'll have more details as they come in.

maybe the sequel won't be an exercise in mediocrity!

I liked the original!

Granted the game play wasn't ground breaking in any way shape or form, but i found the story engrosing enough to make it a worthwhile FPS!

boo you.

i think of R:FoM the same way i think of unreal 2. a lifeless design-by-committee fps that technically ticks all the boxes, but falls way short of genuine interest
