Movies for rent
Today, December 11th 2007, sees the launch of the Xbox live movie store in Europe, a service which allows consumers to hire out the likes of Superman III and 300 by downloading them straight to the Xbox 360 hard drive.The movies range in cost, for example, 300 will cost you 360 Microsoft points for standard definition and 540 Microsoft points for the HD version. Older films, such as Clash Of The Titans cost just 250 Microsoft points.
The new service allows you to search through the movie database by download rank, title and release date and there are a number of films which have previews that you can watch for free.
There are a couple of movies missing from the original list that we published a few week's ago, but you won't be too disappointed, it's only Dead Calm and Lethal Weapon 3.
On Friday, December 28 users will be able to download a mystery title in High Definition for only 99p.
